As a part of our high service standards, each customer is allocated a permanent Service Account Manager responsible for ensuring that P2D staff are fully trained and assessed. All Point staff working on a customer P2D, are required to undergo and pass a training, assessment, and vetting process. This covers issues such as language, cursive and block letter recognition and domain knowledge. A team in the UK is responsible for quality control and for dealing with the forms that prove more difficult to read.

Point has given consideration to future-proofing the service and would be happy to discuss the option of making the form entry system available over the public Internet for end user self-service. The advantage of this would be that, if the reliance on paper forms reduces over time, the number of data sources for forms could be reduced to one. This would generate a single data stream, thus reducing the technical complexity of customer back-end systems. It would also give customers the flexibility to extend the use of paper forms should this become necessary.
